Alyssa is a wicketkeeper/batter and has been involved with an astonishing amount of success in her career thus far. She has been an integral part of victorious campaigns such as the ICC Women's World T20 (X3), ICC Women's World Cup, Women's Ashes (X2) and an astonishing 9 WNCL titles with the NSW Breakers.


She has now been capped 112 times for Australia and continues to be an important member of the Australian side across all 3 formats.


On the domestic front, Alyssa plays for the NSW Breakers and Sydney Sixers WBBL teams. She captained the Sixers in the finals of the 2016/17 WBBL in the absence of the injured Ellyse Perry, leading the Sixers to victory.


Alyssa is married to Mitchell Starc.








First Female selected to play among boys in the elite private schools cricket competition in NSW aged 16.


Senior domestic debut with the NSW Breakers aged 17 in the 2007/08 season.


International debut in 2010 aged 19.


Has already represented Australia on 85 occasions and taken 63 dismissals as Wicketkeeper.






Alyssa played a pivotal role for the Sydney Sixers in helping them reach their maiden WBBL title. She was the 3rd highest run scorer for the tournament, ending with 479 runs. Alyssa was also had the most dismissals by a wicketkeeper with 17 dismissals.
