Mitch Starc has had a great start to the Ashes campaign helping lead the Aussies to a 2-0 advantage heading into the 3rd Test in Perth next week.

Mitch is currently on top of the wicket taking charts with 14 scalps at the impressive average of 19 – including a 5 wicket haul in the second innings in Adelaide to seal the victory on the 5th day.

“The exciting thing is our bowling group can still get better,” Mitch said.

“We’ve obviously managed to take 40 wickets in the last couple of weeks and do some really good things, but I think there’s still a lot of room for improvement.

Mitch is licking his lips at the prospect of unleashing on England at the WACA.

“Obviously we won’t know until we get there next week but hopefully we see a nice, fast, bouncy wicket,” he said.

“Hopefully a WACA of old and we can get stuck into their batters again as a bowling group.”

The 3rd Test begins at the WACA on December 14.
