The past two weeks has seen some strong performances from all of Sunstar’s Cricketing Talent hitting some fine form.

Ellyse Perry finished up her International Season with the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars in terriffic fashion, finishing the 4 match ODI Series undefeated and receiving the player of the series trophy. Ellyse scored 4 half centuries totalling 263 at and average of 132, and 7 wickets at an average of 21. She is now arguably the best all-rounder in the Womens Cricket with her batting improved significantly over the past 12 year.

Mitchell Starc has returned from the UAE and has been in superb touch. He joined the NSW Blues for round 2 of the Sheffield Shield and took match figures of 7-117 including the match-winning wicket to seal the victory for the Blues at Adelaide Oval against South Australia. He was then recalled to the third ODI against South Africa in Canberra where he produced another superb effort to get the ball swinging both ways and in the process taking 4-32 to help Australia take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Steve O’Keefe also returned for the NSW Blues in Round 2 of the Sheffield Shield after making his Test Debut for Ausralia in the UAE. Steve captured 5/24 in the second innings against South Australia to state his case for a place in the Australian Test side this Summer against India.

Jordan Silk recently scored 97 not out to help Tasmania secure the win against Victoria in Hobart. He is set to have a strong 2014/15 after a great off-seaon with the National Performance Squad. The next round of Sheffield Shield begins Tuesday (25/11/14).
